Over the last 15+ years, companies have placed a tremendous amount of attention on developing current and future leaders' competencies. Has that happened at the expense of developing leaders' character?

I recently heard the CIO from Toro speak to my Leadership and Decision Making class. He made a great impression and is clearly committed to a vision with integrity. He has only aligned himself with companies that are both ethical and focused on leadership character.
